Consultant is to identify technical, regulatory, and financial challenges and provide recommendations for scaling up renewable energy to achieve carbon neutrality. The report will evaluate current achievements, and propose actions required to meet net-zero targets. The consultancy will also involve consultations with the private sector and an understanding of how public financing can catalyze technological innovation and private investment. The project envisions large-scale data gathering and analysis, potentially including power system and financial modeling. It will develop a roadmap to unlock the necessary investments. The consulting team will work closely with World Bank experts, country authorities, and sector stakeholders.
