Procurement of Plant Design, Supply, Installation, Test and Commissioning of Solar Mini - Grids (Generation) in 7 villages in Ethiopia. These are (a) EEU-operated mini-grids and (b) private sector-led demonstration projects operated by local and international private mini grid developers as well as cooperatives.
The bid is divided in 2 lots. Lot 1 -Bishoftu, Sululta and Debre Brehan Lot 2 - Dilla, Hosaena, Asela and Jigjiga Towns
The bid security Amount in (USD) .Lot 1- 265,000.00 (two hundred Sixty Five thousand USD). Lot 2- 360,000.00 (Three hundred Sixty thousand USD)
The bidders shall meet for each lot the Minimum average annual turnover requirement of USD 9 Million for last five years, financial cash flow requirement USD 2 million and specific experience: as a contractor, management contractor, or subcontractor, in the design, construction, and commissioning of at least one (1) contract of PV-Battery systems of min. 300 kWp installed PV capacity and 600 kWh of battery storage within the last five (5) years with a value of contracts at least 5 million USD or design, construction and commissioning of at least two (2) contracts of PV-Battery system of min. 150 kWp installed PV capacity and 300 kWh of battery storage within the last five (5) years each with a value of contracts at least 2.5 million USD successfully and substantially and that are similar to the proposed Plant and Installation Services. Bidder may quote for one or more lots. To be awarded for more than one lot, a bidder shall meet the aggregate qualification and evaluation criteria of the lots he is considered for.
